A legendary name : the Bateaux-Mouches
In the 18th century, «les Mouches» referred to small light boats built for the transport of goods in a quarter of Lyon called «la Mouche». In 1949, Jean Bruel, father of the current proprietor, wanted to create a new fleet and invented the «Bateaux Mouches».
Thanks to his avant-gardist idea, 100 million passengers have been able to
discover today’s and yesterday’s Paris!
