During your drive through Normandy, your guide will tell you the varied history of this region and stress the beauty of its landscape. Then you will discover the Mont St Michel.
Surrounded by the sea and the moving sands, linked to the mainland via a seawall, this «Western Marvel» is unique in the world. Dredging works are being carried out to ensure that the bay keeps its unique maritime characteristic.
Upon your arrival on the Mont, you will have lunch at the «Terrasses Poulard» (or in another restaurant in case of overcrowding) and taste the famous Mont Saint-Michel omelette.

The afternoon starts with a guided visit of the Abbey. Built on a rocky islet, it was a great cultural centre and a pilgrimage destination in the Middle-Ages. You will admire the gothic buildings built in succession over the centuries, notably the cloister and the monks’ refectory. Following this visit: free time to wander through the steep and narrow paths, admire the bay and visit the village.
Back to Paris on the motorway.
Entrance ticket for the Abbey included.
