Details - Day excursion to Normandy by minibus to visit the landing beaches

From April 1st to March 31st: 6.45 am Tuesday and Saturday. 
Except from January 1st to January 25th

 

Discover the sites where the Allies fought to regain Freedom !

Travel through Normandy as far as the Pointe du Hoc, well-known for the assault of the heroic Rangers. Free time to visit. Then onto the American Cemetery in Colleville, for an emotional visit, where 9386 soldiers are resting. In 2007 a new Visitor Center has been created to commemorate the operations of June 6th 1944.

You will also discover the bloody “Omaha Beach” and have time to spend some
moments on it before lunch.

Lunch (Included with drink) is served at the “Ferme de la Rançonnière” (13th century) in the village of Crépon. In the early afternoon, you will see the ruins of the Arromanches’ artificial harbour (built by the Allies in less than 15 days). Finally, you continue along the coasts of Gold and arrive at Juno Beach. Guided visit of Juno Beach to explore the remains of the Atlantic Wall before returning to Paris.

The least tiring means of transport for a D-Day visit of the Normandy landing sites is by minibus.
