Guided visit of Reims' Cathedral. Visit a french cellar at Mutigny and degustation. Lunch at Epernay village. Visit of Moet et Chandon's cellars and degustation.
From April 1st to October 31st: departure 7:30am Everyday except Sunday.
From November 1st to March 31st: departure 7:30am Wednesday and Saturday.
The first destination of the day is the city of Reims, where you stop at the cathedral for a guided visit of this gothic masterpiece, for centuries the place for the Kings of France’s coronation.
In the morning, vine growing work is explained before a visit to a vine grower’s equipment in the north of Epernay.
There you will see the press, the vats and stored bottles, the key stages in making champagne, followed by a tasting session (one glass of champagne).
Lunch at Epernay followed by a traditional set menu (drinks included).
In the afternoon we take you to visit the wine cellars of a world famous champagne
maker, MOET & CHANDON*. The grape harvest and wine-making process is explained
before a free champagne tasting. Return to Paris via the Marne valley.
